Wide World of Sports?

So I am planning a trip to WDW Sept 2011. I have been 8 times and love love love Disney. My boyfriend has been as a kid and liked it, but not to the extent that I do. I am already super excited about going and its a year away!

He is a huge spots fan (as am I). Is there anything really cool to do at wide world of sports? I have only been for a spring training game and never really been anywhere else there. Is there anything special i could plan for us to do there that might get him excited about going? :shrug:

Any ideas for WWS or anywhere else on site we could go??

Unless there is an event going on at the time, there really isn't a lot to do at WWOS. There are other activities, though, that my appeal to sports fans like yourselves elsewhere in the resort, like parasaling over Bay Lake, various types of boat rental, numerous golf courses and the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

Like Hank said, if you're not going for a specific event, there really isn't much to do over at the WWOS. You could try the ESPN club over at the Boardwalk for lunch or dinner.
