Why was my last little update thread closed?

If it was over the French Connection UK acronym, then it should be added to the language filter and the members warned it's an unwanted word. No one was saying anything they felt was offensive.

I didn't see anyone getting really upset or even our usual level of bickering with name calling.

Just because you didn't see anyone become upset over it doesn't mean that everything was ok. I received over a dozen reported posts due to posts in that thread. I decided to take action and close the thread before the posts got too out of hand.
