Why no Big Hero 6 preview at WDW?

I'm sure many have seen the parks blog post from today:

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...ero-6-coming-to-disneyland-park-september-25/

Why wouldn't it be coming to WDW too? Both coasts got the recent Maleficent and Guardians previews, so it seems odd to not do the same for this.

Unlikely to be a Marvel east coast issue, since the characters have been confirmed to be coming. Could it be a sign of upcoming work in the Sounds Dangerous theater?

They are Marvel IP, iirc.

Yes, EXCEPT that Hiro and Baymax are already confirmed to be meeting guests in November. Likewise, Guardians of the Galaxy is also a Marvel IP, and that was cleared for in-park previews as well as Star-Lord and Gamora meeting at the Villains Unleashed event (what with the former being quite popular with female guests, from what I've heard, no doubt due to that famed "pelvic sorcery" of his ;) ).

We've still got about 2 months, so it's not totally off the table.

Yes but it would be odd that they wouldn't:
a) announce this at the same time, given how one-Disney they like to be
b) do it around the same time, to maximize the promotional time instead of waiting until closer to the movie release

Well, they announced the DHS preview before the Awesome Mix meet & greet/ dance party.

Fair enough. But I think a closer comparison is the fact that they announced the Maleficent and Guardians previews for both coasts at the same time, in the same blog post.

Maybe they just know it's a slow autumn for news, so they need to hold back for a separate post, haha.

Big Hero Six was Marvel attempts for a Japanese hero team.
The first mini-series include a couple of X-men characters ( Sunfire and Silver Samurai) that was drop in the second attempt.
the second attempt have the team reform with stero-type Japanese characters.
Also there was a backup feature in one of Spiderman book during the Spider Island storyline.
A reprint of the second mini- series collect the entire storyline in one book.

When you realize the book was written by Chris Claremont, the use of stereotypes (though I don't necessarily agree that they are), makes a bit more sense. After all, he and John Byrne created Alpha Flight, which wound up being fairly popular (though never popular enough to carry their own book for more than 100 issues), and those characters were created as a joke- they were all what Americans thought Canadians were (Byrne is a Canuck, so that was his little jab at Yanks).
