Why isn't there a connection between the Contemporary and WL?

I like a walk also, but I do so much walking just getting around the parks, I am not particularly interested in walking a mile from my resort to a park. I would walk from the Swan and Dolphin to Epcot, but I wouldn't walk to DHS.

I know. We put in an average of 9 miles each day when we're at Disney. Makes for some tired feet. If anything, I'd be a bigger fan of them bridging the canal with a drawbridge between MK and Grand Flo. Mainly because a) I don't trust the monorails and b) it is probably shorter to walk there than to take the monorail.

With that said, I can't afford the Grand Flo and so WL is my typical option. Thus, I use the boats or buses, depending on how I'm feeling.

Walk from boardwalk to Epcot? No!

Walk from contemporary to mk? No!

Oh...You're one of those......Gotcha. By the time you wait for the bus or monorail at the Contemp...get to the MK hub..through the bag check (at MK or the 'rail)...and into the park......I'm thinking of leaving.....thanks for that.

You really take a bus back from EPCOT to Beach Club? Well....okay then. I guess to each their own.

Many Americans are out of shape and walking is difficult. It's very different from Europe where people walk every where. I'm not saying that to be mean it's just a fact. I've seen people wait on the boat at Epcot to go to the Boardwalk or they take they take boat from the Boardwalk to the Yacht club. I don't have the patience for that. Like you, I prefer to walk every where.
