Why doesn't Disney partner with...

Sony! They have a lot of potential for great theme park rides. First, in Adventureland, you can have an Uncharted emv like Indy in DL, but it wouldn't be a clone! Also, you could have disney make the uncharted and infamous movies that will be made soon, and if disney deems them not child friendly, they can always put them under the Touchstone banner. Thoughts, comments, concerns? What rides would you guys like to see based on Sony properties.

Disclaimer: Disney would not be buying Sony, just having an contract to do certain things together

I feel like the Disney properties are too large and well known to be put in the same area as the Sony properties. I know Uncharted was huge but how many little kids and adults are going to recognize it?

It could work in Six Flags, not really in Disney. (Just my opinion of course ;) )

True, but also, how many people knew the Song of the South characters before Splash Mountain? Not many. If the ride is well made, people will come. Also, the franchise could also bring in more demographics to Magic Kingdom like teenage boys.

Very good point! But I, a teenage boy, have never heard of this "Uncharted" and I'll go to MK regardless :) but SOMETHING new would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think many people know of Song of the South still hahaha :P

You are right, a good attraction doesn't need a pre existing fan base (which Uncharted has just not the MK average guest) however, why waste the money to use a Sony character some people know when they could just use a Disney owned character everyone knows and still get the same good attraction?

The teenage boys thing is a good point, but since Disney already own Indiana Jones I think that would appeal to all ages including teens.

Still, I'd love to hear how you planned to do the Uncharted ride!
