Most of it is a shift of upper management that wants to extract maximum price in the
Moment for every good…as opposed to building a longterm, loyal multigenerational fanbase that felt as if the product - while expensive - still had very good value/quality for what you paid.

There are a lot of “small reasons” why the stigma is why it is right now…but they all go back to shifting management Philosophy.

One of the best examples, early entry. The parks just used to open early, all attractions at once. Now they only open certain rides early, and you have stay onsite to get the 'early entry'. Blatant money grab for inferior offerings. Early entry now is supposedly a perk, but the amount of early entry crowd continues to increase with every new resort they add, plus they don't even open all rides. So the lines are more ridiculous then ever 1st thing in the morning. This is a large part of the artificial over crowd problem. Then need to open all rides an disperse the crowds for early entry, early entry is usually never worth it. Parking hopping time restrictions. The list goes on
