I decided to make a thread here asking fellow bloggers here who your all time favorite Disney Studios Animator is? It can be any one of the 9 old men. It could be any of the 2G animators like a Glen Keane or an Andreas Deja. Or it could be some Disney animator working for the company now like a Darin Butters or a John Khars. For me it was the man who drew my avatar Eric Goldberg. Love the style of animation he brought to his characters like the way he was able to make his characters bend/have that special "s" curve to em like he picked up on from Al herchfeld and Richard Vander Wende. Notice that I'm not saying who the best animator was, I'm asking who your favorite animator was.

Out of the old 9 men, I would say my favorite is Ollie Johnston. Love the emotion he put into his characters much like Freddy More did which is the person Ollie was taught by.

Hmmm...well, I really respect poor old Freddy Moore, because his ability to add charm to any character really influenced the Disney Look:

But Frank Thomas (along with Wilfred Jackson) did such wonderful work for the "I Got No Strings" scene in Pinocchio:

So for me, it's a toss-up between Moore and Thomas. :)
