Just wondering what the current opinion is as to whom might be chosen to re-read the Disneyland dedication?

I think I better question to ask would be " Who should re-read the dedication." IMO, no one is better suited to read the dedication than Roy Disney. However, more than likely it will be Eisner

For me it is a toss up between Julie Andrews and the kids. The kids would be really neat and emotional as would Julie Andrews. Either would be fantastic :D

It should be read on 7/17/05....

As for who's going to read it....I think Roy should....but Mike will probably wind up doing it.

There shouldn't be just one, there should be MANY. Julie Andrews, ________ Van , etc, those who have made the Disney name, not Eisner.

That's a cool idea! The only problem, though, is that it's such a short speech, it might be kind of strange. People would be switching off like every 5 seconds or so.

I actually don't think Mike will read it--they haven't let him do much presenting--he was BARELY present when they announced the 50th on May 5, 2004--talked for about 15 seconds. It's probably between Julie Andrews, Matt Ouimet, and Jay Rasulo. I'd personally pick Matt Ouimet--he's the reason Disneyland is so beautiful now...
