Now Ive read lots of folks love the " Lapu Lapu " But have you had a Disney cocktail that has blown you away.I don't mean a nice tasty one,I mean one that is so strong that your feet have left the floor and your eyes are looking in different directions. One I remember was the " Category 5 " at T- Rex. It took me at least one hour to finish it. It was Vodka based but can't remember what else was in it. ( maybe just as well ) So what is your favourite " Blow me away " cocktail at WDW.?

I had a long island pool side. Just one! I felt like I drank a bottle of vodka. I am sure it was the sun and heat but wow. My DH had to escort me back to the room for a nap. He said I was walking around and talking to everyone:oops:
OMG. So it was you I saw getting escorted.Heres me tinking it was the Disney police going into action.;)

I will say that a couple of years ago my wife and I flew down and after landing we promptly went to la hacienda and had a tequila flight and a couple or three margaritas in a very short period of time after not having much to eat during the day. That was probably the most tipsy I've ever been in disney b

I haven't had all that many cocktails as I usually find it impossible to resist a cool beer, but the ones I have had have never seemed very strong, I always assumed Disney made them especially weak so the place isn't full of roaring drunks (@littleroo !!!) It appears I have just had the wrong ones, I'll be trying a few different ones in May.

The things that I think pack a big punch are the concoctions that Jellyrolls sells as their nightly drink specials. For $9 or so you'll get a 32-oz red plastic cup filled with something deceptively sweet and tasty like the kind of trashcan punch you might find at a fraternity party. My favorite of these drinks, and one I make at home a lot, is their Kool-Aid, which has vodka, midori, amaretto and cranberry juice. Tastes nice and friendly, but is sneakily high-octane.

Well, not really a Disney drink per se...back almost 20 years ago, I did a solo trip and was at Adventurers Club each night for almost a week. I got the bartender to make me a drink called the Big Red One. Vodka, bitters, grenadine, and sprite. Tastes like cinnamon gum. Over the course of the week we worked to perfect the recipe. Did a lot of liver damage that week.

The Mango Gingerita at Joy of Tea in EP was very strong to me! Maybe I was overheated, but I could only drink about a quarter of it, then had to toss it. I was scared I would make a fool of myself if I finished the drink!

I find that whatever I order they are pretty heavy handed with the rum and all the drinks end up tasting alike.
Not a beer drinker so I'm looking for something delicious. Lapu lapu = rum & fruit. Long Island = rum & coke.
