:) Just wanted to know if anyone has had the oppurtunity to be a part of this at Disney MGM.

What kind of questions are they asking? Disney or other trivia questions?

I would really like to be in the "hot seat" when we go next week. Also any pointers on "standing out" so that they will pick you?

There is a good mix of Disney questions and regular "millionaire" style questions.

Hot seat people are determined by the people playing along, and the one with the highest score gets into the seat next. So "standng out" isnt going to help you! :)

have a great trip!

I didn't get into the hot seat but came close. I was second like three or four times. Had a ball thou.

We kept getting into line after each show. Fun

I LOVE millionaire! I repeatedly get second, never quite fast enough to get first, although I only missed it by a few points:( I have played it here and in Cali, and I came in second both places. I wanna go play again, because last time I did, I was sick, and I still came in 3rd:( I have to go defend my record. I think I would faint if I ever came in first! LOL!

I was first like 3 times but always got something wrong before being able to go to the seat or the show ended. I'm fast answering so i love that show. I want those pins.

I think it's great.

The only thing I can tell you is that you have to be the fastest, and I mean the fastest. From the minute the answers are revealed you have to have you finger on the button and keep pressing it. It's ridiculous how fast the other people are in the crowd. I got ever question right, and I thought I had done it rather quickly and I wasn't even in the top ten.

I also think I was in the crowd with a lot of frequent visitors that knew how to win.

Questions

Some of the questions I remember are...

Which WDW hotel has it's own guyser?
In which Disney film does Ursula appear?

Stuff like that...there were a few general knowledge questions also...it's kindof like the Disney Trivia Challenge game.

It's VERY hard to get in the hotseat...and there's a time limit, so the "fastest finger" really comes into play.

I've been in the hotseat two times and it is really fun, except for the stupid time limit. They used to ask Disney questions till the 1000 dollar question when they first opened last April but when I was there in August they stopped asking Disney questions all together. They even redid the pre-show with less mention of Mickey and stuff for some reason.

My entire group of friends were at the top of the list past the second question. It was funny, because it was my friend Carole's birthday that day. When she got called down to the hot seat, I noticed a Cast Member behind me. I casually remarked that it was funny that it all happened on her birthday. The cast member sent the word to the gameshow host and he REALLY shocked her with that news...

I was ranked first after she went down, but she didn't bomb out until the time was ready for another show. Still, it was funny that my wife was ranked second, and Carole's husband Jason was third....

But then again we're the gods of useless triva.

BTW: There was not a single Disney-related trivia question. Just a lot of questions about France?!?!?!

It does seem strange how at some of the shows we've been to, both of the contestants were related. In another show, the kid who won the fastest finger contest to start the show just randomly hit 4 buttons faster than anyone else. He used up all his lifelines just getting to 1000 points. I was second when he went down. I made it to 1rst place while the second contestant was in the hot seat but I knew only two get in there per show. Both shows had questions about keys on a keyboard, For example, What number key has the $ symbol? 1, 2, 3, or 4:rolleyes:

I don't think their are any restrictions. Only problem they have with that is if a youngster totally guesses on the fastest finger and get's it right in a ridiculous time.

I had this happen when I was there, he was like 9 and he obviously just pressed 4 buttons in some random order and got the fastest time. So he got in th hotseat and he got the $100 question wrong.

While it didn't say anything about an age limit, the spring edition of the Disney Magazine said something about a 22 month old kid getting in the hot seat. No mention of how far he got.:hammer:
