My #1 pick would be Bob Gault from Universal Orlando, but that will never happen.

With that in mind, I think that a new guy would take over. Someone who loves Disney and what it is supposed to mean, knows how to provide a quality experience, and knows how to treat his employees well. I should also add that this guy should NOT HAVE ANY prior experience with Disney, so as to limit the amount of corruption that they have been exposed to.

But you know, just for the sheer embarassment on Eisner's part, I'd love to see Judson Green take the job again.

Heh, Although Weiss and Harris have good reputations, I think that Grizzly Hall should take over....spark up the imagineers and restore the resorts to their former glory....

Someone who...

(1) LOVES WDI
(2) Cares about the Disney Aspects, not money money money
(3) Cares about Walt's wishes and the public's wishes
(4) Reaches out
(5) Markets correctly and doesn't lay off!

There is someone applying from the job, I am told, who meets most of these!! :sohappy:

Tony Baxter was also responsible for Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, the concept for Soarin' Over California, and the original concept of Tomorrowland 2055 at Disneyland. He is a hard working man who loves to make great attractions, was taught by the original imagineers, and cares about the guest experience.

That's why he hasn't been promoted. :(

Speaking of succession, I've just heard through the grapevine about the potential replacement.

Guys, you're gonna wish Pressler was back...
