Who should get the money HK Disneyland or DCA?

I think there's enough money to go around. No need for one park to suffer so that another can prosper. Both should be fully funded.

Here's an image of HK disneyland's It's a Small World. Looks like some money is going that way.

Agree. Disney has the available funds. Why wait and let one suffer in mediocrity while both can be upgraded at the same time?

both of these parks need to be profitable and there is no reason for them not to be. The longer Disney delays fixing them, the longer they will be paying to run parks that are not performing up to expectations. Both should receive proper funding and now. The plans I have heard of for both parks are very impressive, though--just a matter of doing them.

Like that whole Pirates thing that had it's plug pulled....would've been nice.:brick:

Is that one of the submittals to the board to decide on? What do they plan on changing at DCA? I haven't read anything about what they plan on doing. Do they plan on changing the whole concept of the park?

Florida!

OK, fine. Hong Kong. While I'd love to see some good news out of DCA (just so I could, ya know, have a shred of interest in visiting one of these days), I was hugely impressed by the attention lavished on Disneyland for the 50th and so I feel that at least one of California's big problems is out of the way for now. The Anaheim location isn't a complete dud. Hong Kong, on the other hand, still seems to be lacking in a lot of areas...and I just don't think a Magic Kingdom should be introduced to a new population of visitors with that kind of lukewarm reception. If Disney doesn't pour more money into it now, potential visitors will just lose interest and eventually the park will be dead in the water. I wish Disney would hold off on the overseas expansion altogether, but I can't change the fact that HKDL has been built. They might as well just go whole hog and make it a true success while they still can.

The big Pirate thing? Don't think so. I think it was killed a little while back. Too bad, but maybe it will free up Tim Delaney to work on a WDW project. I tend to like his stuff.

Depends on which plan they go with. Anywhere from a major retheme job for the park, or smaller, more focused work.
The biggest impact will likely be Paradise Pier around to Condor Flats. Also I believe the "Carland" concept is still awaiting greenlight for the Farm area.

Thanks Lee!

Where is the farm area for the "carland'.

Carland is still a possiblity? Cool! I'm glad to hear that at least one planned project is still a go. I never cared for the Farm area. Would the Bugs Land go as well, or would that stay?
