Who does the construction at Disney World/Land?

This is something i've always wondered, who does the actual construction? The larger projects I mean in particular, like the expansion or the new hotels, not touch up jobs and things similar which i assume are done by"regular" cast members with paint brushes. Curious because i do union construction work in NYC and ive always toyed with the idea of getting away from city life and building the new attractions for Disney. I saw a few months back Disney was looking for project managers for the Hawaii project so i know not everything is kept within their circle.

--and by "regular" I just mean that they arent particularly hired for their painting skills.

Buena Vista Construction company is Disney's in house construction company but work can be contracted out to any number of sub contractors.

Illegal aliens for the most part. Then the REAL contractors are brought in to finish up the work and fix the mistakes.. I'm not lying, unfortunately :fork:...
My sister & her husband both did contract work there. My sis even got to "TP" the castle for the opening celebration of Stitch's Great Escape(And he is DEFINITELY an illegal alien, lol!)!!

I watched a painting contractor with no less than 20 painters blitz Port Orleans last January. They were not Disney people, they had their trucks parked in the lot. They would come in the morning, mask off and paint the railings on an entire building, and the next day move to the next one.

The company my friend works for provides all of the temporary fencing they use around the parks when improvements are being made. We install and remove. I at least know for a fact Disney people do not handle that.
