how is the WCC? we're staying at the WL in Dec and plan on eating there because we have 2 young boys and think it would be more appropriate and mre fun for them instead of Artist Pointe.
Am I correct?

You are correct. WCC is a lot of fun for adults as well as children. It is a pretty loud place, and the food is good. We ate there on our last trip and enjoyed ourselves. Have a great time!

The kids will love it! There is a really good interaction with the servers at WCC.
Here are a few things to keep in mind.
ask for ketchup
have your husband ask where the bathroom is
wear a shirt or cap from another non-disney theme park
tell the server you are going to a non-disney theme park
ask for a straw

It is located in the Wilderness Lodge hotel. It's a reasonably priced establishment that serves good hearty meals. The servers (not all of them) like to have "FUN" with their customers.

here is a sample of the "Family style" meals that they have to offer.
They do serve regular meals also and they offer a children's menu like all WDW sit down restaurants

Sunrise Sampler Skillet - Our All-You-Care-To-Eat Skillet includes: Scrambled Eggs, Hash Brown Rounds, Bacon,Sausage, Buttermilk Biscuits, Sausage Gravy, Waffles and Breakfast Breads $9.69

Try Our Famous All-You-Care-To-Eat BBQ Skillet
Featuring smoked pork ribs, Roasted Herb Garlic chicken, served with baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, roasted garlic potatoes and corn bread, served Family Style $13.99

If you have any other questions, or would like to see a full menu for either B,L, or D please let me know.

Isn't the all you can eat dinner more expensive. I think it is 21.99 per person.

Your son will be more entertained at WCC, but his parents will enjoy a much better meal at AP. Everything we have had there was just beyond awesome. I'd do WCC for bfast and AP for early dinner. You MUST have the salmon! It's actually fresh- flown in from Maine ( as I've read, at least). It is the best ever, so there.

Sorry I should have said that that meal is from the lunch menu. The dinner version is $21.99.
