Which Water Park has less of a crowd in August in the afternoon

Hello everyone!

I have a question about BB and TL. My family and I are going to WDW from Aug. 1 to Aug. 10. We will be arriving in the afternoon and wanted to go to one of the water parks on the 1st. Does anyone have any recommendations on which park would have smaller crowds in the early to late afternoon?

FYI, we have been to both parks before and we love both but we would prefer to go to the least crowded park.

Thanks!

Wait to go until after the inevitable afternoon rain and neither park will be very busy.

In August you are looking at basically the same crowd levels at both parks. Blizzard Beach might be a little bit more crowded, but after a certain point it all seems the same anyway. Get wherever you are going early and do as much as you can before lunch time. Then you can spend the afternoon on the more leisurely things and repeat attractions. I find the water parks to be some of the hardest lines for me to stand on because everything is just so hot in the summer.

Getting there early isn't an option for the original poster. The best bet is to flip a coin or go to your favorite park as crowds (unless it rains) will both be about the same.
