Did you pay for standard or courtyard?

If you have standard view, I highly recommend a room overlooking the lobby. Awesome view, especially with the Christmas decorations up.

We have a Standard room. Its actually part of the land sea package. 3 nights at WL and 4 nights on the cruise. Do I just call the resort and ask?

Oh man am I jealous! We went on the Disney Cruise a few years ago doing the land/sea package and it was great. Anyway, as for what room to ask for, if you are getting a standard view definitely ask for one that is over the lobby, as for specific room #'s I'm not sure, we have always sayed in the Villas. There is supposed to be good info including specific room #'s to ask for at each of the resorts according to what type you want in the new Unofficial Guide to WDW comming out soon, I haven't seen it yet, but have heard that it's supposed to be really good.

I suggest that you keep your standard room. When you check in, they should automatically upgrade you to a courtyard view if there is any vacancy (no extra charge for this). If they do not, ask them if they would.

I cant wait to be back in Disney! We are going to have dinner at the Artists Point as a treat one night. We are saving our change in one of those water dipenser bottles for dinner. I think we have enough for 2 appetizers and 2 dinners so far!

They will do this year round if they have the space. When I went in Dec. I stayed in the Contemporary and had a garden wing booked. They upgraded me to the Tower.(9th floor) I watched the fireworks from the MVMCP every night from my balcony. Like I said, if they do not do it automatically...ask.
Have a great trip!
