Which Ride...

would you WANT to get stuck on and which ride would you NOT want to get stuck on? We had this discussion last night at dinner, you had to name rides at all 4 parks, and we had some interesting responses. Thought it would be fun to see what others had to say.

I'd love to get stuck on Toy Story Mania! Extra time to play! Plus AC

I'd hate to get stuck on something like Kali River Rapids...I also never enjoy the log backup on Splash Mountain. I guess I don't like sitting around being wet.

The Rapids definitely came up as one to NOT get stuck on. Especially under the fountains, getting pummeled over and over again with water!

I'd like to get stuck anywhere there is visually something interesting or in a place with a lot of detail...I'd LOVE to be stuck mid-way through the attic in Haunted Mansion to be able to look around at all of the items that are in that room.

As far as where I wouldn't want to get stuck...I'd hate to be stuck anywhere in which I was in a physical position that would get uncomfortable after a while--like the ascent or descent in SSE...I'm too tall for my head to sit on those headrests built into the seat, so it would be hard to keep holding my head up if I were in that reclined position for too long.

I'd also not want to be stuck 'in the air' anywhere...I'd not want to get stuck while in Soarin', especially if in the top section and stuck in the 'up' position while the film is playing--no thank you!

I have the same problem on SSE. In fact, it's hard for me to hear the narration because the audio is so far from my head. (I'm 6'4)

I'm 6'4 too and I have the same problem as you...too high for the headrest and it's often hard to hear the narration...

LOL! Same for me on Haunted Mansion. Also, when the Ghost Host lowers your safety bar, I sometimes get smacked in the knee if I'm not careful. Does that happen to you too?

Yes, I HAVE been hit in the leg/knee by the safety bar, but having gone so many times now I think it's just a habit for me to position myself when getting in to keep from getting hit with it!

I also find IASM and POTC boats to be hard on the knees. The backs of the POTC boats have little depressed squares I always try to get my knees in to give me a tad more room. Now that I think about it, for lack of comfortable leg room I wouldn't want to get stuck on either of these rides either!

I would want to get stuck on pretty much any dark ride like Pirates or Haunted Mansion, I wouldn't want to be stuck on TOT or IASM. My brother and I once got stuck on Spaceship Earth on the backwards descent while going down for about 5-10 minutes. It was horrible but it was funny what some people were saying/yelling in front of us.

Since I have been stuck on Haunted Mansion, I would be happy to be stuck there again. The rapids and mission space were the definite no goes for me.

Stuck on the top of EE- Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. this is my new biggest fear!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I'm sweating just thinking of it.

Best ride to be stuck on? Pirates could be fun- at least it's nice and cool.

Definitely noticeable on Pirats and SM...haha. You'd think I'd have trained myself on HM. I've probably ridden it 200 times, literally. I am still so excited to go on and sometimes forget!!

Funny you specifically mentioned the ballroom at the Haunted Mansion because I was recently stuck here for about 15 minutes not that long ago. It was amazing to be able to look around and see all of the detail going on in that room, but yet at the same time it didn't take away from it at all. In fact, to be totally honest, the longer we were there the creepier the effects felt. I don't know why, but it really felt even more surreal and eerie by the time we started moving.
