Which resorts have been refurbished

Hello all

I'm planning my honeymoon at WDW. We got engaged 2 years ago on the Disney Wonder in the Animators Palate. We stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort in WDW. I thought the rooms were a bit old and run down. So were should we stay? Which resorts has been refurbished the latest? I know the AKL is new and so are the music, sports etc.. Our travel agent recomended Port Orleans(Riverside). I stayed there about 10 years ago when it was called Dixie Landings. I hope it has been refurbished. Please give me some suggestions. My price range is for moderate and delux rooms.

well it all depends on the price you are willing to pay, but it's my job to guide people in the right direction so let me try to help help.

The Polynesian rooms were refurbished not to long ago, and they got a new pool. The monorail access is also a plus.

If you really want luxury go for the Grand Floridian or Yacht and Beach Club. The location and ammenities at both can not be beat.

If you are looking for something a little more secluded and romantic I would choose the Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge. If the animals are not your thing, then go for the wilderness lodge. Same comfort with no animals.

If you don't want to spend the money for a deluxe resort, I recommend one of the Port Orleans resorts. French Quarter is beautiful and got a little rehab over its closing. But Riverside is a little more secluded and quiet. But each is very nice.

The Contemprorary finsihed a 4 year refurb in 1999, they redid all the rooms, the pool area, and the physical pool itself.
