Which land needs an update?

Does anyone think a particular land at the MK could use some either light or heavy refurbishing? Tomorrowland looks great from what it once was. I think Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Liberty Square could use some changes. Nothing major, maybe a few facelift kind of updates.

Hmm, actually, I think Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Adventureland are all fine the way they are. I think all of us would be in agreement that Mickey's Toontown Fair is majorly in need of a major rehab. Come on, Make it toontown allready!!
How much would it take, leave the part now the way it is, but take out those tents, and add a city hall area across the train tracks!

I think fantasyland is long overdue for a major re-do. Tommorowland had one not too long ago, and the other lands still look "good".

I agree Fantasyland is the one land that needs the most work.

In fact I remember even back in the 70'd thinking, tthis land could be so much more.

And then after I saw the DL Fantasyland makeover, I realized how bad ours really was.

Fantasyland does need a big makeover , with 20,000 leagues gone,"it's a small world " could take its place with a better facade. As for the old "small" building ,that area could expand Fantasyland with new attractions based on "Beauty and the Beast" ,"Hercules" , "Pinocchio" and even "Mr. Toad 's Wild ride".

Mickey's Toontown would be great as the Little Mermaid Grotto and Toontown can be designed for the Studios with Roger Rabbit's car-toon spin.

Fantasyland needs to have the major holes in it filled (20,000, skyway, etc.) Tomorrowland was updated in 1994 (although I kind of like the old tomorrowland better).

I would agree with most of your choices of Fantasyland. Even though I love the "old feel" of it I still believe they need to fill in some gaps.

I think Fantasyland needs to be updated, not only in the RIDES sense, but also in the modern aspect. I mean, Fantasyland, like Tomorrowland, are the two contemporary lands in MK, the others respond to a certain Time in history. Tomorrowland's been changed to NEW Tomorrowland which really looks great, I have to admit, but Fantasyland remained the same. I mean, dreams change too, don't you think? It's time for a change, not as big as Tomorrowlands, but YES a change would fit great.

MORE THRILL ATRACTIONS!!!

Don't you guys think that Magic Kingdon could have some more thrill atractions? Maybe another roller-coaster on Tomorrowland, or on Adventureland, areas that seems to be a wonderfull place to have a thrill ride, as Liberty Square and Fantasiland are great the way they are and Frontierland already have two great rides (Splash Montain and Big Thunder Montain Railrod).
Building a major atraction on advertureland would be a great way to atract people to this area of the park as Jungle cruise doesn't seem to atract a great amount of people as it used to on the past.

Adventureland got a new attraction last year ,as for Tomorrowland there big attraction was Buzz Lightyear in 1995. The Hall of Presidents just added Bush this past fall 2001, but Epcot is the only park getting a big makeover .

Fantasyland needs it badly and so does Toontown, but until they get the money and new ceo's and Imagineers , nothing will be done.:brick:

I think the last thing Magic Kingdom needs is more thrill rides. I see thrill rides as a last resort to bring in more guests (especially teenagers). I think if Disney designed a well-themed ride that wasn't necessarily a thrill ride (the mountains), then I would welcome it with open arms. Another Pirates of the Caribbean or Jungle Cruise would fit in good. Another Space Mountain or Splash Mountain, I think, would only cause problems.

I'm all for Fire Mountain in Adventureland..it'd make up for us not having Indy, and it'd fit the theme (Adventureland is MOSTLY the tropics...plus the random Aladdin ride...). Fantasyland has needed an update for quite some time, and I'd like to see CarToon Spin in Toontown...I also like the Sleepy Hollow idea for Liberty Square...I'm fine with Tomorrowland and Frontierland...

I really don't mind one more thrill ride, specially a mountain;what I do mind is the theming. I don't want them to built another mountain in (suppose) Fantasyland just to build a thrill ride and the last thing they do is the theme. Probably they will choose some property they haven't used yet, and use it just to give an excuse to the ride.
I would love to have another theme as Splash Mountain whose story really makes sense, and it's not some fall because there's a fall, but the whole laughing place, etc is really well thought.
