It's more than just annoying.... it kills what makes each resort unique.

with China becoming a huge possibility for box office gains the most logical place to add Pandora would be Shanghai. They should also consider adding it now so that it would open close to the opening of the movies so that they can give the future franchise some exposure

Pandora can just be the ride in Anaheim's Disneyland. It doesn't need the whole land. Either the simulator or the boat ride will be enough.

Avatar the movie made a ton of money in China, iirc. I thought there were already plans to do it in Shanghai or HK, but must have been dreaming.

Tokyo is getting massive expansions in both parks that won't include Pandora. Not getting a third park means Tokyo gets expansions.

Shanghai is a blank slate that should get Pandora, but the Pandora landscape is very much like Guilin China (although upside down in Pandora). Almost like a California Adventure approach to the new Land. However, the government in China expects their Disney parks to have Chinese influence. The best of both worlds, one of them alien.
