I want your opinions on which Fantasmic! is better: the one in Disneyland or Walt Disney World?

Which Fantasmic! is better?

I've only seen the WDW also but I'm heading to Disneyland in 2003, so I hope it is still there when I go.
Rumors are circulating that Disneyland may get rid of Fantasmic! Why? The show is very expensive to produce per night especially if there are two shows a night and with that tight budget, it is very hard to do that. The show has a scheduled rehab in late 2002, so it will still be up by then and a couple years afterwards till we hear word.

I prefer the Disneyland one, the way the columbia and the mark twain creep up on you and tower over you is fantastic, do just dont even know there coming. In WDW it all looks smaller and seems to go on to long..
and what happened to the crocodile and ursula!!
Thats just my preference, both shows are pretty Fantasmic!

I don't know about the Fantasmic! in Disneyland? Would I like it even though you have to rush to get a good seat? How do they get people to seat? Do they do it like with Illuminations, roping off an area till a certain time?
How good is the one in Disneyland? I haven't seen it but I'm going to see it in 2003. Is it similar to the one in Walt Disney World?

Well..... The Way it is presented at Walt Disney World makes it look better,but, The Peter Pan part is much better as well as the ending at Disneyland because the boats are not card board! But in fairness, I have worked both of them and hate Disneyland because angry guests will take swings at you!! I think they need a better show anyway :king:

I haven't have the pleasure of Disneyland but the vision of guest taking a swing at cast members is enough to put anyone off

it's definately not the thing you want to see on holiday - especially at Disney

how can any of you say disnyland? theres no where to sit! and when you do sit you have a white rope in front of you! at least where we sat. The only cool thing about that fantasmic was seeing the Jolly Rodger ..... other than that Disney Worlds is definately much better... dont waste your money... spend it wisely!!

I prefer the show at DL. I've seen both a few times now, and the show at DL is a bigger show. True, it has it'seating and flow problems, but if you get there early enough to get a good seat there is really no big deal! You can't knock the show just because the seating wasn't planned very well. The question was which show was better. I just think that the lack of space behind MGM'm mountain made them take away the other ships in the show, which really give it a sort of flow. The Pocohontas thing doesn't work that well, because the people are too far off, and the music re-work isn't as good. They cut the peter pan fight, and the rock and roll "pink elephants" medly....
