Well - don't hold your breath.Final Fantasy VIII was released back in Dec 99, so looks like you've got a long wait ahead.If they ever ported it, I really hope they include a good joystick with it - this game is built for the DS2. It plays more like Brave Fencer than normal Square RPGs. Totally new battle system, not turn based or menu driven.
