Hi, i'm in WDW for my 22nd birthday in september and I want to do a character breakfast on my actual birthday (10th september) but I don't know which one to choose.
1900 Park fare
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Cinderella's royal table
Ohana
I had breakfast at Cinderella's royal table last year and it was so amazing! Best cooked breakfast i've ever had and definitely worth the money. I would go back but because i've already done it, I don't know whether to try some where else. My friend said its up to me but I can't decide so would be great to get some opinions on which one to go for
thanks
We've done them all. I will rank them and give my thoughts on each...
1. Crystal Palace - this is my #1 fave character meal. We usually do it pre-park opening...so you get that same magic you'd get with a prepark opening at CRT, but for less $. I'm also in love with their breakfast lasagna and the service at CP is consistently excellent. We have had bday cake here in the past as well as the standard bday cupcakes and they do make a decent fuss over it.
2. 1900 PF - this is my 2nd favorite character meal. I think the characters are a big part of what makes this. While Pooh and Tigger are also at CP, for whatever reason, the Pooh and Tigger at PF are always so much more into it. The rest of the characters have also provided us with some of our best character experiences. Beyond that, while my beloved pecan sticky rolls are gone, they still have a really nice set up with the bagels and spreads. aka- the schmear
I'll be having my bday cake here this summer.
3. Chef Mickey's - We've done several bdays here and the staff here as well as the characters usually get really into it. While I love a meal with the Fab 5, I bump this one down in the list because the food is more generic.
4. CRT - This would have been my #3, but since you've done it before, I pushed it to 4. It is a very good breakfast, they do bdays very well, and well...it's the castle
5. 'Ohana - This one is pretty far down on our list of character meals. The problem with these meals is that they are inconsistent. When we tried 'Ohana breakfast, we had a very nice server and awesome characters, but the food was inedible. Our waffles and potatoes were like rocks and the sausage and eggs were undercooked/raw. We sent our food back 3x for food that was safe for consumption and never once got a plate full of food that was OK. I also didn't think the food we saw was anything exciting. Chef Mickey's may be generic, but you get far more options than what's given at 'Ohana. I know some people rave about this one, but we thought it was very disappointing from the food perspective.
