The last few years of visiting the Magic Kingdom I haven't seen any horse trolleys or any of the old school vhickes, am I catching them at the wrong time or did they cut back?

Wow, I guess they come out earlier because I always sleep in on the Magic Kingdom day and stay later. I am assuming they run all the same things as always?

I have seen the horsedrawn streetcar at Magic Kingdom on recent visits, but can't remember the last time I saw the other vehicles :lookaroun like the horseless carriage, Omnibus, or fire truck.

I assumed those vehicles had been retired, but was assured here they do still run. I don't get to any park at rope drop early in the AM, because I sleep in on vacation, but I am there by late morning and Main Street is devoid of vehicles at that time on recent visits over the years.

What's the schedule for the vehicles? At Disneyland, the full fleet of vehicles run from park opening until mid-afternoon when they get ready for the first Soundsational parade at 3pm. Recently I have seen Main Street USA at Disneyland running in early afternoon with two horsedrawn streetcars, two Omnibuses, a horseless carriage and the fire truck. All at the same time.

Anyone know and care to share with us what the operating schedule is for the same fleet at Magic Kingdom Park's Main Street?

Disneyland I am pretty sure is much bigger on things like that. With only being 2 parks and Disneyland being much smaller they really pack the place with smaller things like the vhickles, street shows and little things outside around the park. Both parks have something the other lacks.

I don't think the size is the reason why Disneyland still has all of its vehicles. I'm sure it's because they are original, "Walt days" attractions and it would be bad to get rid of them. Same reason why we still have the classic Fantasyland dark rides. It'd be kind of an insult to get rid of them.

This past December, the horse trolley took us from the entrance of the MK to the front of the castle. A barbershop quartet stood on the back singing songs as we rode along. The funny thing is that they were practically begging people to ride and nobody did except us. It was great listening to them sing as we rode down Main Street.
