Usually I have skipped breakfast but, this year I will have some time on of our mornings for a sit down breakfast.

Transportation any where on the resort is not an issue.

Thanks for your help,

Well my favorite is the all you can eat skillet breakfast in the Wilderness Lodge, Chef Mickey's for character breakfast (you need ps for this one). I'm sure others will come up with some more.

My absolute favorite is the Garden Grill at Epcot. The whole restaraunt rotates above the "Living with the Land" ride, and you can look over the edge into the ride.

It's a bit dark and might creep out really young kids (or they might love it like my son does). Chip, Dale, Minnie and Micky all come around in farm outfits.

Don't let the name fool you though, the food is fat on top of fat. It's an all-you-can-eat, but they bring it to your table. Sausage, ham, eggs, fried potatos, bisquits etc. with suasage gravy to pour over it all :slurp: (Hey! Coronary physicians have to make a living too, don't they).

I'm pretty sure you can also order from a standard menu if the all-you-can-eat doesn't interest you.

Our favorites are O'Hanas at the Polynesian, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, or Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.

p.s. The Garden Grille at Epcot no longer serves breakfast.

I'd say Kona Cafe for the Tonga Toast. Or Concourse Steakhouse for the Sticky Mickey's.

(By the way, on a side note, Pop Century's Everything POP will be serving Pop Waffles and French Toast stuffed with marshmallow fluff :) )

Chef Mickey's

You can check out the menu at

http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_cmb.htm

I went to breakfast at Chef Mickey's in May 2002 and there were many additional items available.

This is a great character breakfast for the kids. When I went Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Goofy were present.
Goofy was the only character who didn't move around to the tables to visit (he stayed near the restaurant entrance).

What kind of prices are we talking about here??

We are 5 rookies coming in for Feb/04 and were thinking of only doing 2 or 3 breakfasts because we thought they would be too expensive. Is this so?

How much $$ are the Character Breakfasts??

I used to never eat sit-down breakfasts at WDW. Then I went to one, and I was hooked! The food at the breakfasts I've been to has been outstanding. Here are my favorites:

1. Concourse Steakhouse (the stickey mickey is incredible!)
2. Boma
3. 'Ohana

For regular breakfast meals, you'll probebly be around $15 (give or take a few $) plus tax. For character breakfasts, you'll be $15-$20 plus tax.

You usally get a lot of food for that, exspecially the buffet meals.

My wife and I would do Boma's almost every morning, and it was about $35 for the two of us. Two meals, one of there pressed coffe, tax, tip, etc. We did Kona on our last visit as well and I think it came to about the same cost.
