Hey all,

For highschool graduation next summer, myself (dvc member) and 11 friends are set on getting a grand villa for two weeks and having the best vacation of our lives. But here's the thing...

Old Key West Resort or Boardwalk Villas?

The choices are obviously between those two seeing as how they're the only two resorts with Grand Villas (correct me if I'm wrong).

I've stayed at Old Key West quite a few times, never disapointed. However, I've never even been to the Boardwalk.

So what do you guys think would make for the best time for us?

Well since you're graduating high school I'm assuming you're all 18. Staying at OKW would put you alot closer to Downtown Disney. For my graduation trip, mind you this was 8 yrs ago, we stayed at French Quarter and it was great to be so close to Pleasure Island.

On the other hand BWV is within walking distance of 2 parks. I just stayed there in July and loved every minute of it. However, I believe the clubs on the Boardwalk are all 21 and up.

I think I would still rather stay at BWV because of its location to everything. But you should think about the other 11 people and what would work out best for the group. Also a grand villa at BWV is going to cost alot more point than one at OKW.

If it's summer of next year, then Saratoga Springs will also be open. They also have the grand villas. And you can request one with a view of Downtown Disney. How cool would it be watching PI's fireworks from your grand villa? Being a fan of the location and grounds of the old institute, I'd choose Saratoga Springs over BWV or OKW.
