Where to stay on our drive down?

Hi all!
We are going to WDW on Spring Break...I know, crazy time, but I'm a teacher and so there are limited times we can go. Anyway, we are planning to drive from Cincinnati to Ocala and then stay there for a short trip the next day. Can anyone give me a good place to stay? I've been looking around and obviously we have to stay in one of the hotels with suites. Wondered if anyone has had experience with one of these and if you know of any tricks/discounts, etc. to getting a roll-away too. Thanks!

I'd recommend renting a house off-site. You'll have a full sized house with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, probably a private pool and a garage. And you'll still pay way less than a suite on-site.

Try Country Inns and Suites. We always leave the day before and stay overnight so that we can get to the World early and refreshed. There are Country Inns in several towns including Ocala. I have never stayed in one that was not nice. Enjoy your trip.

Unless you're planning on some vacation time in Ocala, why stop? It's only another hour from there to WDW. I suppose if it's because a room for the night there saves you some money.

If you are coming 75 south.... Atlanta is about 7.5-8 hours from WDW. Valdosta is 4, and Gainesville is about 2... If you can make it that far- stay north of Atlanta, north of 285.... you'll be safe and there are a ton of places to stay there, as well as food....

get a hold of those travelers visitor guides..for either Georgia or Florida.. from Cinncy.. if you leave at 4 am you will be shocked how far you can get in a full day's drive.. at least 3 hours south of Valdustda Georgia.. why do I say this.. because you are four hours south ( at least) of where I start... maybe Ocala is an outside possibility..
