Where to go for late late night dining??

Howdy to the most helpful people for the happiest place on earth.

My wife and I are driving down to Walt Disney World this Sunday to try out Pop Century and root my for our beloved baseball teams on Monday. Unfortunatly we aren't going to be leaving Atlanta until about 5:00pm. Best case that's going to put us in Orlando right at 11pm.

So I know that the Downtown Disney restaurants close at 11. I know that Tubbies at Dolphin is open 24 hours but we were hoping for something more sit down.

What else in the world serves a good sit down dinner at or around midnight?

Or, what else is good around the world off site.

Suggestions appreciated! :)

Try ESPN Club. I know they serve apps late. You may want to call ahead to see how late they will be serving.....I think there is a TGIF at the Crossroads near DTD.

good luck and have a great time

HOB is open until 1:30am. I don't know if you can order off the whole menu but I think most of it is available! Planet Holleywood is open until 1 am.ESPN is open until at least 1 am. These are the only Restaurants I could find that were open after 11 pm. If you have a car you can always hit something on International drive. We usually drive down from VA and know how it is to get down to WDW late and be starving!!

I tell ya its almost better to not eat that late than go to any of those places though. I remember bing in that situation last year and we chose to go to ESPN and the food was great but that late at night they only had really greasy food, but we were starving so we said what the hell. I didnt know what real heartburn was until that night.

Ya know, the farther south you go, the more Waffle Houses (and other un-disneylike venues of an adult nature) you see.

There is a Fridays as well as a Chilis and a Bennigans. All are on 535 and within 2 miles of property.

 Bad heartburn is a killer. Just a tip though. Friend of mine recently told me about a great heartburn killer. She was recently pregnant (just delivered a month ago) and didn't want to take the chalky meds. She said papaya chewable tablets worked great for heartburn! I checked em out somewhere online and they were way cheaper than some of the better heartburn meds. I'm going to give them a test run myself soon. I get horrible heartburn. Thought I'd pass that along!!!

As far as the restaurant question, allears.net (is it .net? I cant remember) has a dining section with menus. Some of the places on there have closing times. Good luck you lucky bird!! I wish I was going this soon!

 You're not lyin! I've also found for acid reflux eating some bread will tide you over and so will some milk. You know what's odd though? When I stay away from heartburn meds and just try to tough it out, I don't get heartburn as frequently or as badly as when I'm chewin meds like candy. Friend of mine also found the same thing to be true. I'm definately gonna give these papaya tabs a shot VERY soon. Oh to be able to eat a chili dog and have a cherry lime slush w/o feeling shooting myself in the foot would feel BETTER! :slurp:
