Where to go for breakfast

The Garden Grill at The Land has a great big breakfast plus they also have characters. I doubt it will be very busy at this time of year.

The Rainforest Cafe at AK is pretty good and usually serve breakfast till 11:00 am. Which is good for us late risers. The atmosphere is really fun.

When I went in August, they said that the Garden Grill had stopped serving breakfast.

My favorite breakfast is the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's on the Grand Canyon Concourse of the Contemporary. Very cool, classic characters, and a huge buffet.

Another buffet breakfast that is impressive, but yet cheaper than a character breakfast, is at the Trail's Inn in Fort Wilderness. That is probably the best deal for your money in all of Walt Disney World, but you have to park at the FW desk and take a bus or walk to it; or take the ferry boat from the Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge.

Depending on where you're staying and how far you want to travel......

Chef mickey's is a great Character Breakfast with plenty of interaction and a pretty decent selection of food. You'll need PS for this, but should be available for any day of your trip!

Whispering Canyon is a fun breakfast place in the Wilderness Lodge with a relaxed atmosphere and unlimited servings of breakfast favorites!

The best deal for breakfast, though, is over at Fort Wildeness, where the Trails End Cafe will serve you a great Breakfast Buffet for very little money...and the service is GREAT! No PS required!

Beware, though, that a huge breakfast is not something you will want everyday before hitting the parks! It is filling and makes you tired again! We try to save this for once or twice during our stay. Frankly, my favorite "breakfast" is one of those giant chocolate covered rice krispy treats and a cup of coffee on the patio of the Main Street Bakery as we watch everyone enter the Magic Kingdom for the day!

We love the All You Care to Eat Skillet Breakfast at the Whispering Canyon at the WL. The only time we needed PS was when there were 9 of us...usually only 4 of us and we never have trouble getting in.
We love Chef Mickey's for a Character breakfast, but you will need PS. If you are staying on site ask at the desk, they made PS for us for the next morning. It shouldn't be too busy so you may luck out. Have a good trip.

We like to make PS ressies (BTW, it's not too late) for Crystal Palace at the MK for about 30 - 45 minutes before MK opening. They have a CM at the entrance with the PS list and check it before letting you in. Then, it's a nice stroll down a fairly empty Main Street. Oh, and the food at CP is pretty good too. :)

CP breakfast at MK on our first full day at WDW is a tradition of ours.

Where to have breakfast

My vote is 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. The food was good, the price reasonable and there were plenty of characters.
You will not go wrong if you choose from any of the postings that I have read.

I'll second the Rainforest Cafe at AK. If you have the Pie of the Viper you won't have to eat again until later that nite. I managed to eat the whole thing and wasn't hungry again till around 10 that nite.

My all time favorite though was Tony's Town Square at MK. I wish they'd start doing breakfast again.

Chef Mickey's. Chocolate croissants and breakfast pizza.
Get a late reservation 11:15AM and do it on a day the Magic Kingdom opens early. They don't serve lunch so the place starts to clear out about 11:45 and you get the characters to yourself and no crowds. They don't kick you out but you can hang around. Tons of fun.
