I want to spend a whole day at USO and was planning on eating dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe but just got off the phone and they do not except reservations so that plan is out the window. I am not gonna take the chance mid June when the place is probably packed to the gill of having to wait 2 hours to eat.

I will be with my wife and 2 teen daughters (17 & 19), I love seafood but wife is allergic and the girls arent much for seafood either so... :hammer:. I was thinking Emerils but would assume that it would be very expensive? And the Pastamore is out because we plan on going to Tonys Town Square the next night and that is pasta/Italian...

Im thinking I may have to go with Margaritaville unless someone can tell me the pricing at Emerils?

They don't take dinner reservations after a certain time of the day, but you can try the day of your arrival to get one. Sometimes they will hook you up.

If not, try eating lunch there. It won't be as crowded to get in and it will be an air-conditioned break you might need.

Margaritaville is also a great place to eat, the Cheeseburger in Paradise is just that, paradise! They also have a "Perfect Margarita" made with real everything, no artificial sweetners used.

If you eat inside the park, The pizza joint near the Mummy is pretty good. If you go into IOA, try Mythos.

I just realized I messed up and thought the Hard Rock and Marg were AT the park. GRRRRRR... Ok I guess I go with Mythos... gotta see if they do reservations in advance.

They do accept reservations in advance but you won't need them. I walked in at 12:00 on December 26th, probably one of the busiest days at IOA and was seated right away.

The NASCAR Cafe has some fine food and the only place that my family and I have found that serves sweet tea on the Universal property. Hard Rock is ok,although it is nosy to me and somewhat crowded.

NASCAR Cafe is closed for construction of NASCAR Grill. I suggest getting a Meal Deal where you can eat at select resturants for free all day. If you want free drinks you have to buy a Meal Deal souviner cup. Check your map when you get there for Meal Deal resturants.

I don't know if it'll be open around dinner time (because of park hours), but Mythos at IOA is always a good choice. They have a great selection-- there's something for just about anyone. I vote Margaritaville for outside the parks.

Mythos is an awesome restaurant, I really think it gives Disney a run for their money. Also, the restaurants at the resort hotels are very good.

Hard Rock is fun though.

HRC reservations can be made on the day you want to dine there at the Dining Info booth in CityWalk (in the middle of the walkway past Bubba Gump). This goes for any CW restaurant.
