Where to buy tickets, on property

I was just wondering where you can buy tickets on the property that doesn't require you having to pay to park at one of the parks. We are staying offsite and I wanted to get our 1 day tickets for MK a few day before we plan to go. That way we don't have to fight the crowds on the day we plan to visit. Or, is there anywhere else in the Daytona or Orlando area where you can get 1 day tickets using a gift cards and a rewards card? Thanks for the help

I would say Downtown Disney would be your best bet, or stop in at one of the Disney hotels, like a stop at Saratoga Springs. Your hotel might see tickets too but I doubt you could use a Disney gift card at a nonDisney hotel

Ok, I wasn't aware that you could get tickets at DTD. We are staying in Daytona and thought we would swing through DTD for lunch on our way to the beach.

DTD has a great ticket place. We visit it every trip, just for the excitement of the kids when their parents tell them they are going to (fill in the blank) tomorrow.

No, we will stop at DTD on our a way to Daytona from Indianapolis. I'm also using it as an excuse to finally try EoS for lunch.
I'm not sure how many people you are traveling with, but you may want to check MapQuest even for that plan, because you are going WAY out of your way for a sandwich!:bookworm:

Some more details please...Are you staying at another hotel in Orlando the night before you go to Disney after you stay in Daytona??? In that case I would go to Downtown Disney that evening/day you get to Orlando...Otherwise DTD is not just an on the way stop...

You should probably refer to a map before finalizing your plans. Orlando is not on the way from Indianapolis to Daytona.

If you happen to be at DTD and want to buy tickets there, that's great. But if you're just going there to buy tickets, you might save time just going to a park.

Most non-Uni hotels sell Disney tickets. Uni told me they would sell them, too, but Disney won't allow it. I don't know if that is true, but they don't sell them. There are also discount ticket places...some honest ones and some that aren't as honest.

If you want to use Disney gift cards or points, you'll have to buy direct from Disney.

I don't think that they realize this fact. Or perhaps they don't realize how big Florida really is.

We go to Florida every year. I'm quite familiar with it. We are taking an hour and a half detour, if you will, on our way to Daytona. We want to eat, shop, and get park tickets. We are going to MK, for a day, the following week. Getting park tickets early is much better than fighting crowds on the morning that we are going to MK. We are not staying in Orlando, just going for that one day. Our room in Daytona won't be ready till 4 anyway. If we stop at DTD, that should put us in Daytona at about 4.

As much as we would love to stay in Orlando, or even Disney, Disney has pretty much priced us out of the half week or weeklong trips that we usually make. So, we will be visiting for a full day, and we will spend our money elsewhere.
