Where is the best spot to see for new years?

I will be there this year for New Year's Eve also. This will be my second time going for New Year's. All the parks will be crowded on New Year's Eve, but the one that will seem least crowded is Epcot especially in Futureworld. I will recommend going to Epcot as they fire off fireworks over each country before midnight leading up to the big finale at midnight. The New Year's Eve fireworks at the Magic Kingdom are great also, but you can check them out the night before as they do them at midnight the night before New Year's Eve. I did that the last time I went for New Year's Eve. You could also go to the Boardwalk area and you should be able to see the New Year's Eve fireworks for both Hollywood Studios & Epcot from there.

Yes, they still provide hats and noise makers. No, no need for hand stamps. Just use your ticket to get back in.

They stopped doing stamps years ago. However, many of the parks - MK especially - reach capacity on New Year's Eve so there's a good chance you won't be able to get back in when you want to. They fluctuate throughout the day and there are often long stretches of hours where no new guests are permitted entrance. It's often best to pick a park, get there early and stay all day for NYE.

Parking lots also fill up and accept no new vehicles on the day as well - something else to keep in mind if you intend to hop/leave a park that day.

I've heard about how great the party is at Epcot on New Year's Eve, and we were thinking about trying it. Why is it so highly recommended, exactly?
