Where is Maelstrom FP+?

I'm a Travel Agent (Disney Earmarked agency, I do this often!) and I was noticing that my clients aren't seeing Maelstrom as a FP+ option from Sept. 28th on, not even Tier 2. I just called Disney tech help and while she couldn't give me an explanation, she said that is so. I asked if there was a refurbishment coming or something and she didn't know (or couldn't say?). This may not mean anything, but at the very end she said something like "I guess they have a really big surprise for us." ??? Intriguing.

The theory is that they are going to close Maelstrom and reimagine it as a Frozen-themed ride, but no official word about it has been released.

Yes, lots of theory going around. This is the first time I've seen a concrete indication that something is actually going to change...

It has certainly disappeared from all the FP+ systems, and they don't even do that for rides going down for refurbishment.

boooo....I wish we could just "Let it go" already.

It would be a real shame if we lost the other ride (and pavilion for that matter!) of the WS to a Disney franchise theme... (and I don't even care for WS that much!)
