Wasnt ToT suppost to be getting the random drop sequence this fall?

I rode it for the first time last week. What exactly do you mean by random drop? I might have experienced it and not known.

Random Drops

I rode TOT for the first time last year. Wow, on the first drop, when my rear-end lifted off the seat, I sure wasn't counting the drops, much less noticing where they happened. My stomach was doing flipflops and I gripped the hand bar as tight as possible, while screaming on the drop.

Isn't it pitch black in the elevator, until the doors open for a moment to show you the outside? I doubt I would know the "random" drop from the "regular" drop sequence. :veryconfu

Well, it's been soooo long since I've enjoyed the priviledge of riding ToT that I'm not really sure about the "random" drops...

All I can say is that back in the day (re - last time I was at WDW), I rode ToT so many times in a row that I knew exactly when the drops were about to occur. With the random drop sequence, the drops are supposed to change from ride to ride - that way you'll be surprised/terrified/thrilled every time you ride.

Does that cover it ya'll? Someone please do let me know if I'm wrong. It's been so long since I've been on ToT - how would I know what's going on? :lol: :animwink: :lol:

Not sure about the Random drops or whatnot, but I love the current drop sequence... I'm too busy screaming to figure out what it is... so, Im still surprised each time I ride... hehe

I rode ToT several times when I was there in August, and (like everybody else) I was screaming so loud that I was completely unable to anticipate the drops. It seemed to me that it was substantially different than it had been a year ago, but I couldn't swear to it.

We got to get you out more. This our fourth trip (five if you count me going the first time in 1974). Personally, if it weren't for my peanut we wouldn't go so many times. DH and I both work and we only have 1, so after the first time with him I was hooked. We are foregoing a romantic trip with just DH and me (we did it last November in Antigua - renewed our vows). I guess I'll just wait until our 10th then go away just with DH.

Been talking to Belle - I think she just might kill her sister before going on this trip. Maybe you can substitute:lol:

A friend of mine was there 2 weeks ago, and she said that there were 4 total drops. Two of them were like the mini drops that they kind of tease you and shake you. The other two they dropped you the full length...
