Where is Fantasmic?

OK, I'm probably being paranoid but I'm checking the calendar for my trip (3rd - 7th April) and there is no mention of Fantasmic at any time!

Do you think this is because they haven't decided when to put the show on yet (i.e. waiting for an indication of crowd levels to see if they need two performances) or is there a refurb I don't know about? Seems unlikely as it went down for new projectors quite recently.

When you are looking at the monthly calendar, you need to click on the particular day to see the events. Fantasmic is scheduled for 8:30 and 10:00 on Sunday the 5th as well as on Monday and Tuesday. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/hollywood-studios/calendardayview/?asmbly_day=20090405

Thanks for the info but I think you might be referring to the Disney World calendar, not the Disney Land calendar which is what I'm after.

I believe Fantasmic! is set for yet another refurb that starts in April sometime, this time its said to get a new dragon and Flotsam and Jetsam added to the Ursela scene.

We've been on a fantasic role with upgrades to F! latley, first was the new Monkey/Princess barges with the really cool LED, the brand new lighting, new digital projectors, and now this. Pretty sure something was done to the fountains too.

Didn't realise you were heading off to DL, are you going across purely for DL or doing a multi-centre trip? We were considering visiting it next year.

Hi, How was the honeymoon?

We are going as part of a multi-center (San Francisco, Vegas and LA) - three places I've always wanted to visit. I was going to hold the trip off till about 2012 when all the refurbs were done but my sister and brother-in-law wanted to do the same trip this year so we figured we should all go together.

It's also another step on the way to seeing all the Disney Resorts around the World - 3 down (soon), 2 to go!

Cost wise (from the UK), I think it is still cheaper to go to WDW so I wouldn't really think of going to DL if it wasn't part of a multi-center.

I think it's a pretty common one. Someone I work with is doing the same thing but a couple of days earlier (their not going to DL though - must be crazy!)
