Where does the boat from DTD go to??

We have a reservation at Raglan Road at 6:00 on our last full night at Disney. That day we will be in HS, plan to head over to DTD and then want to see Illuminations in Epcot. Anyone have any suggestions on what the best modes of transportation would be?

We are staying at the Contemporary so it all depends on timing. HS probably won't be a really busy day but we start off at Chef Mickey's then will head over and do whatever we feel like and then we will either head to the hotel or on over to DTD.

Phew! Awesome end to a magical vacation..Last year we had an ADR at Via Napoli at 5.30pm but wanted to finish off at MK..We kinda just went with the flow..Monorail,etc.

Yeah I am kind of thinking the same thing. Imagine Bus to Epcot and then just take Monorail back "home". Just wondered if Bus from HS to DTD was our only option.

There are different boats going to different resorts. One goes to pors and fq.

In your case your best route is probably to walk or take a boat from DHS to BWI and then take a bus to DTD and then take a bus from DTD to BWI and then walk from BWI to EC.

I think you would be better off getting a dining reservation along Disney's Boardwalk between the two parks if you don't plan to head back to your room after you leave HS. Less travel and convenient to both parks. Save Raglan Road for another night or nightlife at DTD after Illuminations (not an option if you have children with you, though).

Not doing any switching on the ADRs. Took us forever to get 5 people to agree on what we wanted to do. So, we will just get to what we can.

I originally had a reservation for Raglan Road on a Sunday night. Figured it would be a night at DTD after check-in. But then I "bit the bullet" and bought a MNSSHP ticket instead. Raglan Road had to go. Then I thought I would go to Raglan Road after HS but then took my own advice and decided on Big River Grille in Boardwalk instead. So, I may go for the nightlife option myself.

From HS, I would catch the bus to either Key West, POFQ, or PORS then boat or bus to DTD. I recommend boat, it's very relaxing. Leave plenty of time to get to DTD though. Remember, you can't get to DTD straight from a park. Then from DTD, you can take the bus back to the Contemporary.
