I confess that I've never eaten anywhere but the Smokehouse (and the hot dog place connected to it.)

What else is good?

And if you're looking at this in six months or a year, feel free to answer. We take things slow in the Sea World section, lol! :)

Ok here is what I a recommend. If you like taking things slow there are really 2 great dining options:

1. Dine with Shamu - it is a great experience, it is all you care to eat, and it is amazing how close to the Orcas you get!

2. Sharks Underwater Grille - A GREAT restaurant. I personally think it is one of THE most underrated restaurants in Orlando. I prefer Sharks to the Coral Reef at Epcot any day. The ambiance, the cuisine, the views are all amazing. The dining experience is very low key and slow. Unlike other theme park fine dining, they aren't trying to push you out of the door as fast as they can. It is a place where you get a nice cocktail, order a petite appetizer, enjoy an incredibly prepared and presented meal, all while sharks swim past you. I cannot recommend it enough.

3. If you are a budget traveler, then the Buffet near Shamu Stadium is a GREAT option especially if you have kids! It is all you can eat pizza, pasta, salad, desert and includes soft drinks for 14.99 (you really can't beat that) They bring out all types of different pizzas, some great veggie pizzas with wholewheat crust too.

All these restaurants you can also get a discount at if you have an annual pass.

I hope this helped!

All the quick-serve is pretty uniformly terrible. (Cafeteria-style, so food sits for who knows how long.)

Sharks, tho, is well worth the splurge. I agree with Ofteric, probably most underrated theme park restaurant, easily on a par with Mythos. Great food, amazing atmosphere (just don't let them sit you in the back room if it's busy).
