Where do you go Pin Trading?

Hey WDWMagic,

I just wanna know where you all go pin trading outside of WDW.Do any of your local Disney stores hold events or do a buch of Pin Traders meet at a certain place and time?If you do go to a Disney Store Please list which one and where.

I currently trade at Disney Character Warehouse in Dolphin Mall,Miami FL.

I'd be interested in reading about where people pin trade as well...

Is it possible to do with this Disney Store employees? (Though they probably wouldn't have any spectacular pins, since they wouldn't have as much pin trading traffic...)

Here in the Chicagoland area, we have a local organization called the Windy City Pin Traders. We meet once a month at a Fuddruckers in suburban Addison, IL, west of Chicago, where we do our pin trading (and some time, buying). It is a very friendly group of people who share the same passion. We often buy pins for others if we're going to WDW before the next meet, and other folks reciprocate in kind. It has become quite a nice social event (we had a "pin trading picnic" at the home of one of our members last month).

For me, it is just nice to meet other pin traders around here. At least now, when we go to the next Pin Celebration event (which is this coming Sept), we will have known quite a few more people there.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention that since the opening of the Disney's Doorway To Dreams store here at the Woodfield Mall in suburban Schaumburg, the cast members at that store also wear lanyards, and one can certainly trade pins with them as well!
