Where Do You Go For: Dessert??

That's on my 'to do' list for next holiday.

I think the desserts at most of the restaurants (with the exception of zebra domes at Boma) and CS leave a lot to be desired, at the CS I usually have water instead. However, the bakeries make up for it - I love the Boulangerie Patisserie, Sunshine Seasons and Main St Bakery, even the resorts have some decent baked goods.

Favourites are strawberry shortcake, eclairs and crumb cake.

me too I love all the bakeries I have been to! My power breakfast is coffee with milk and a chocolate croissant!

I normally do not have dessert unless it is at a sit down restaurant, and then it is iffy since I am normally full, but I do like School Bread in Norway at any time of day. :)

I am 11 days away from this:p ... I specifically know that on July 26th around noon I will be grabbing a Soaring fastpass, then heading over to Sunshine Seasons for this treat. It will be the first thing I eat upon arrival to WDW and I think I will grab a coffee somewhere so that I will have a boost of energy . I am sure since my flight is at 6:15 am cst that morning, (what was I thinking ?:eek:oh yes I wanted to get to the magic ASAP:D) I will need some energy fortification.:)

Oh that's good, he did say he was happy to go and risk it but I don't want him to be disappointed! I know I'd like it all :) Thanks :)
the marinade is actually pretty nice a little more suttle and you def get to savor the meat. expecially the steak however if you were to ask your server for unmarinaded cuts they could prolly pull it together .... i personally think it is one of the best meals you can get at disney the whole package of it is great

Unfortunately, one of my favorite desserts is at one of my least favorite restaurants - the Baileys and Jack Daniel's Mousse at Coral Reef. Yum!!

I really wish the DDP would include an appetizer instead of dessert. I would much rather visit one of the great bakeries on property for my desserts!

It does look really good. I think we may give it a go. We actually had reservations there this year but swapped it for something else, but I think we should maybe bite the bullet. Thanks for your help.

What great start to your holiday! It will set the tone nicely. Sunshine seasons has lots of good options, but the strawberry shortcake is epic. You'll be able to get coffee there too.

I'm sure arriving at disney will give you the boost you need to get you thro the day, you'll be raring to go when the magic hits you :-)
