Where Can I Add a Day to a Ticket?

Hi everyone! I can't get a simple answer from WDW on this.

Can I upgrade a 9-day ticket to a 10-day ticket at the front desk at a resort, before the ticket is ever used? (There's no package involved and I bought the ticket online from WDW.) I just called WDW twice and one CM said yes, but another said no. I searched previous threads but they're older, so I don't know if resorts still do this.

We're arriving this Friday, two days earlier than we originally planned. We want to hit MK at rope drop Saturday morning. If I can upgrade the ticket ahead of time at a resort, I could set up FPs Friday night and avoid a line at Guest Relations Saturday morning.

Thanks for any help!

The front desk *might* be able to help, but you're probably better off stopping at Guest Relations at a park. There's also no need to upgrade it right away. You can simply start using it when you need to and add the extra day up until the 9th day that you use the ticket. Just make your FP+ choices now for Saturday. You may have to cancel a day at the end of your trip, but those can be re-scheduled after you've added the extra day.

@Rob562 , why is it that you're more knowledgeable than any CM I talk to on the phone? ;)

I took your suggestion and it worked like a charm. Cancelled my guest's FPs for a day mid-trip, made him FPs for day one, and will add a day at our leisure later on in the week when we're not in go-go-go mode.

Thanks for your help!
