Where are the projections?

In the Rome scene on Spaceship Earth, I remember projections where a chariot "drove" up the road... Why did this stop? It was a great way to show some depth in the scene...

They were turned off on the last big refurb but Idk if anyone has a confirmed reason.

we miss that too. always kept an eye out for it. it was 1 of the little things we enjoyed on that ride.

It bothered me when that projection went away. It was such a fun illusion, with the fires on the roads and the horse and chariot that appeared in the foreground and then ran off into the distance. I don't see any good reason why they stopped this effect - very bad show!

At first I missed it too. Then I realized just how unnatural it really did look.

With today's projections maybe they will bring it back, it did look kind of tacky but was really cool. I also miss the old ending.
