Where are the new Disney Treasures DVDs???

Today I hotfooted it over to my local video emporium to snap up the lastest Disney Treasure sets and... they're not there?!?!?

Long story short... no store in town has them!

What to do? Drive 50 miles east to the city and look there. 50 miles of driving later I find that only ONE store in town has them... the Disney store! What?!?!?

So I'm back home looking on the internet and it gets even stranger. Amazon.com doesn't even have these new sets listed any more either under new releases or by title search.

What's going on???? Any one else having problems finding these??? Is there some kind of distribution problem getting these sets out???

Any info, anybody???

I bought my three at the Disney Store today. They had them for 24.99 each. I saw only the studios one at Best Buy today. They didn't have the Mickey or Goofy one.

Sure enough, I checked Amazon and Best Buy's website. No mention of them at all. Here's what the official Disney site says: "Not Currently For Sale, This title is not currently for sale by Walt Disney Home Entertainment but may still be available at your local retailer."

:confused:

I almost preordered mine from Amazon. I almost passed them by at the Disney store today.

Oh no!! This is horrible news!!! I was waiting since last year to see more of these - I own all of the other releases. Maybe there is a delay - cross your fingers!!!

Weird that you couldn't find them at Amazon.com, I have both Mickeys and Goofy on my Wish List right now.


By the way, it's pure torture. I can't buy it right now, the dollar rates are killing, and I can only watch while "Mickey Mouse in Living Color" just gets more and more expensive... :brick:
