I know it's only a matter of time, but shouldn't Mickey starting greeting you by name? And when will the rest of the characters (the fab 5) starting meeting with you as talking characters?

You'd think they would be testing it so maybe magic band integration isn't perfected yet?
Not sure how it works now - either performer voice controlled or someone off hidden (like Crush) controlling voice and mouth.
I think only certain names are programmed into a track because my bro in law tried getting him to say "Hi Gianna" to our daughter, and he looked perplexed and said "Nice to see you Pal!"

Yeah, I agree. I was so excited to meet him for this reason. DBF and I both have pretty simple, easy first names and he said nice to see ya pals to us.

When are they doing it to other characters? I've heard that Minnie, Goofy, Pooh, and Tigger will be getting the treatment.

Honestly, I think it would be hard to pull off. There are so many ways to pronounce certian names. I could just see some crazy getting all offended because you didn't pronounce "my baby's" name correctly and "ruined" the magic.

WHAT! That Mickey is amazing!! I remember crying from laughing so hard when my friends told me a story about how they met Magician Mickey and were in the middle of saying "Hi Mickey, today is my birth-" and he was like YOU KNOW, THERE ARE THESE GHOSTS OVER AT THIS MANSION....and then after a synopsis of The Haunted Mansion, they all posed like hitchhiking ghosts and he sent them on their way.

My last trip when I met Magician Mickey he said the same Jack Sparrow Joke to different families and the one dad said "You said that Joke already" which made mickey say "Say let's take a picture" The dad then says "Well, what about the joke" Mickey then goes "Hot dog that's a swell picture" The dad again tries to address mickey "I missing the Point" then Mickey stops turns around to them and says "Have a magical day".....
And throughout that entire moment all I thought of was this scene from the Simpsons...
