When to start planning?

DW and I are doing a Disney cruise in November. We're thinking about taking advantage of some of the deals mentioned at MouseSavers and doing a day or two extra at WDW. We have our APs, so we're set on getting into the parks.

I looked around some today and it looks like now's too early to book anything. All the deals MouseSavers mentions are for periods before our November trip. I've never used MouseSavers, but I'm sure some of you have. Do any of you know around what time frame I should be looking for mid-November?

I believe that almost everything (food and entertainment) can only be booked 30, 60, or 90 days in advance. A call to
407 WDISNEY would give you all the timelines they go by.

If you go deep enough into Mousesavers, you will find a section where they list the dates of different discounts during the previous years. This may give you an idea of what Disney might do this year during November, and when to expect to see something announced.

Notice I said might, because Disney will probably determine the types of discounts based on projected crowds.

Some of the better discounts have been for AP holders. Hopefully Disney will have something in November.
