Okay, I am probably going to order a surprise gift from Disney Florist for my hubby and kids when we go down in Sept/Oct. I was thinking of getting the Halloween gifts since we will be going to MNSSHP on the 29th. Should I order the gifts now or wait until 10 days before or a week before??? I just don't want to put an order in too early and it get overlooked/misplaced and don't want to wait until the last minute and find out they can not do it. Any advice would be very helpful.

We usually order the day before we want it delivered, they have never missed a delivery. Since this is a busy time and you want something specially themed I would give them a few days to get everything done.

I would start contacting them ASAP. I have sent 3 e-mails to them to get my niece a birthday gift delivered to the room, they finally responded about a month after my ititial e-mail and they didn't even answer the question I asked. It seems like they barely read the e-mail:

what I sent was:

I was wondering if I could add the Epcot Passport to the Ears to You Child package. I would still like the autograph book as well as verything else in the package (monogrammed mickey ears and candy) If this is possible could you please let me know what the total cost will be.

2nd e-mail copied the first and added: Could someone please look into this for me and respond ASAP as I am arriving in two weeks and would like to book something right away

3rd e-mail copied the previous ones and added: Please respond to this e-mail so I can book something ebfore my arrival next week

the response I got after a months wait was:

The ears to you package does contain an autograph book with pen.

I've decided to do a present myself when I get there and sneak it into the room.

Keep on them and make sure you get what you want as, from my experience they don't seem very competant.

1. Will they have more holiday (Christmas) themed gifts by November? Or is the $400 tree and the Mickey stocking as good as it's gonna get?

2. What about memoriesbybetsy.com? It looks like a much better operation than Disney Florist.

NEVER email, always call in person. We have never had any problems in all the years we have been using them.

Usually they will add more holiday themed things as it draws near.

Unfortunately with their limited calling hours it's not an option to me but since they have an e-mail, they should have someone compteant looking after it, especially these days when so much business is done that way.

I'm hoping to order by email, phone calls to US start getting expensive and inconvenient at times, so I think I'll try earlier than I was planning.
