When is the best time? I know all about the heat and humid. but as far as crowd. these are the dates I am looking at.

July 17th-24th or Aug. 14th-21st

Later in August the local kids are back in school. Your second set of dates will see progressively smaller crowds during the week.

I'd be arriving the day after you leave. Crowds have been quite manageable around that time.
