When To Go?

Hello everyone

I'm Carolyn from the UK. I am hoping to book another trip to WDW very soon with my husband and 2 year old son. I was wondering whether to go end of January/beginning of February or first two weeks of March.

Do you please have any suggestions you could give me as to which time would be best in view of weather and crowds for my family.

Many thanks
Carolyn

Hello, Carolyn, and welcome aboard.

Your question regarding the time of year is a good one; I, too, have a two year old and have found that either time is just great. Historical attendance shows that the time period between just past New Year's up to President's day weekend in February (round about the third week of the month) is one of the lowest times of the year. Park hours are usually shorter during this time (good for a little one) and the weather is quite moderate but can be quite chilly from time to time in the early morning and late evenings. (5-7 degrees C)

Please check the official WDW site (or any of the unofficial sites)for information regarding ride refurbishments and special events during that time. You may also want to check for historical temperature and weather conditions for the area via a weather.com type of website.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Cheers!

HI and Welcome to WDWMagic!

I would suggest that you go within the last 2 weeks of January. If you need any help with your planning, please contact me. I do free Itinerary/meal planning for my clients and I do my best to help them find the cheapest way possible to go.

I do make arrangements for a lot of the forum members and I would be happy to help you any way that I can. Feel free to PM or e-mail me.

Pam
