I have worked in the Magic Kingdom for over a year......here is my opionions on when is the best time to go....
DAY OF THE WEEK....
Sat is the busiest day of the week...almost 2 times as busy as during the week...this is because the park is open the late on this day AND during the off season, its the only day we do spectro...also, many locals that have AP's come on the weekends....and WDW gives great FLA resident discounts and parents take there kids on day trips on sat.....I NEVER GO TO MK ON A SAT...only exception....go to one of the other 3 parks then come to MK for spectro......always see the second one if there is 2, never from Main Street, the best spot to avoid the crowds is in front of the FL shooting gallery....
Sun are bad to....for many of the same reasons above PLUS its a EE day.....if you are staying on property....come for this then go somewhere else after the crowds pick up...if you are not on property....pick a differnt park
Mondays....Second busiest day after sat
Tuesday, Wed, Thursday....good days (note Thur is EE but not as croweded as Sundays...
Friday.....hit or miss....sceen it both ways....
TIME OF THE YEAR....
Attendence Scale.....1 empty walk on everything all day
2 slow 10 min mid afternoon for e-rides
3 average 15-25 min erides...slow at night
4 busy 30-45 min erides 10 min at night
5 crowded 45-60 min 20 at night
6 VERY CROWDED 60-75 min
7 XMAS, 4th of JULY, EASTER, THANKSGIVING
75-90 min
After the 4th of Jan to before President weeks.....(2 or 3)....but cold and early closings and no specrto during the week and no eride nights and REHABS!! (splash was closed last year in Jan)
