When to book LL before Date-Based Ticket?

So, I know there is this language:

"Guests with date-based theme park tickets (which require the Guest to choose a start date at the time of purchase) can purchase 3 days before the first day of their ticket, for the total number of valid admission days on their ticket."

But, here is the more specific question. I bought 5-Day tickets, starting on 9/12. They are good for 7 days, and it was cheaper to start before we arrive at the parks. Anyway, can I book a LL 3 days before 9/12, or 3 days before my actual first day at a park (9/14)?

3 days before the start date of the tickets. And you can book all days at once.

Thank you. That's what I figured but the ability to actually "start" later was confusing.
