When is disney full of spring breakers?

Is it about 3 wks or so we can expect it to be busy? April 4th is Easter '10
Looking ahead to March/April/May 2010 trying to avoid that time period or if we must we will have to go in May.
Taking 3 kids out of school for a few days

Been to wdw twice in early may and both have been extremely hot

For the most part spring break is actually spread out across as many as 6 weeks between February and April. Pretty much every university,public and private school take it on a different schedule. For that reason the crowds will be bigger than normal but not insane. The only notable exception would be Easter weekend. Phased closures due to high attendance is not unheard of on Easter weekend and it should be avoided.

As Master Yoda said, school districts all over North America stagger their Spring Breaks over about a six-week period. As a result, most tourist destinations have a windfall of profit for an extended period. Unfortunately, different jurisdictions have different formulae for determining when their break falls each year, some are tied to Easter and some are tied to a particular week of a given month, so predicted the exact period is difficult without doing a lot of reseasrch. The tourism industry knows though! :lol:
